He is a former President of the AILA New York Chapter and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Immigration and Nationality Committee of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA). Over his long career, he has testified before legislative bodies, authored proposed immigration legislation, and trained generations of attorneys through his lectures and editorial work.
