With more than 200 verdicts to his name and a distinguished reputation in both federal and state courts, Charles Horn is a seasoned litigator and partner at Horn Wright, LLP. His trial success spans civil rights, constitutional torts, and high-stakes commercial disputes, including RICO and health care litigation.
Mr. Horn began his legal career as Deputy County Attorney for Nassau County, where he supervised the federal litigation unit and defended cases involving discrimination, wrongful death, and civil rights violations. In private practice, he continues to advocate for individuals facing false arrest, malicious prosecution, and excessive force, winning verdicts of up to $5 million.
Military Service
A Lieutenant Colonel in the Army National Guard Judge Advocate General’s Corps, Mr. Horn was deployed to Iraq and awarded the Bronze Star, Combat Action Badge, and Army Achievement Medal. He is a certified Military Judge and currently assigned to New York State Joint Forces Headquarters.
Public Service
In addition to his private and military work, Mr. Horn serves as Deputy Village Attorney for the Village of Lynbrook, providing both prosecutorial and general legal counsel since 1998.
