With more than 30 years of experience in matrimonial law, Anthony Yovino is a leading attorney on Long Island, specializing in divorce, custody, and family law matters. He is a member of the New York Family Law American Inn of Court and has been recognized in The New York Times Super Lawyers publication every year since 2007.
Mr. Yovino’s legal expertise has made a significant impact on matrimonial law, with several precedent-setting cases, including McGowan v. McGowan, which established that an advanced educational degree is considered marital property subject to equitable distribution.
He regularly publishes articles on matrimonial and family law topics, serves as a lecturer for the Nassau Academy of Law, and is a continuing legal education instructor at St. John’s University. Additionally, Mr. Yovino is a frequent guest on the radio program “Law You Should Know” on WHPC 90.3 FM.
