Lucas Buzzard is an experienced attorney specializing in civil rights, employment law, and workers’ compensation. Prior to joining Joseph & Kirschenbaum LLP in 2015, Lucas gained invaluable experience as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Peter W. Hall of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and at the Second Circuit’s Staff Attorney’s Office.
Lucas’ diverse background includes internships with Hon. Reggie B. Walton of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and Hon. Anna Blackburne-Rigsby of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. His legal experience also includes providing representation to indigent criminal defendants through a legal clinic during law school.
Lucas is passionate about advocating for the rights of individuals, especially in the fields of employment discrimination, workers’ compensation, and civil rights.
