Edgar Ness Romano is a highly respected workers’ compensation attorney with more than three decades of experience advocating for injured workers throughout New York. He is a managing partner at Pasternack Tilker Ziegler Walsh Stanton & Romano, LLP, where he concentrates his practice on complex workers’ compensation matters and occupational injury claims.

Mr. Romano litigates a wide range of workers’ compensation cases, including those involving occupational exposure, asbestos, and industrial irritants. His depth of experience in this highly specialized area of law has made him a trusted authority for both clients and professionals within the workers’ compensation community. In addition to his litigation work, he frequently lectures to labor unions and medical providers on workers’ compensation law and workplace safety issues.

A recognized leader in his field, Mr. Romano has served as Past President of the Workers Injury Law and Advocacy Group and currently serves as President of the Society of New York Workers’ Compensation Bar Association. He is also a member of the Leaders Forum of the American Association for Justice and previously served as Chair of its workers’ compensation section. His professional memberships further include the New York State Bar Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the Jewish Lawyers Guild, and the New York Committee for Occupational Safety & Health (NYCOSH).

Mr. Romano plays an active role in occupational health advocacy. He serves on the Advisory Committee of the World Trade Center Medical Monitoring Program at Mount Sinai Hospital and on the Advisory Board of the I.J. Selikoff Center for Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He has also been listed in Who’s Who in American Law in recognition of his professional achievements.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Brandeis University and his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School.
