Laura K. Gasiorowski is a highly experienced criminal defense attorney with more than three decades of practice in state and federal courts. She has devoted her career to defending individuals and corporations facing serious criminal allegations, with a particular emphasis on complex white collar matters and high-stakes litigation. Ms. Gasiorowski joined Stahl Gasiorowski Criminal Defense Lawyers P.C. in 2005 and is now a partner in the firm.
Ms. Gasiorowski’s white collar practice includes defending clients against charges involving mail and wire fraud, PPP fraud, bank fraud, securities fraud, money laundering, tax evasion, computer fraud, and structuring offenses. In addition to white collar litigation, she regularly represents clients charged with serious state and federal crimes, including terrorism, kidnapping, narcotics offenses, gambling, murder, VICAR, and RICO violations.
She is frequently appointed by judges in the District of New Jersey to represent federal defendants under the Criminal Justice Act, reflecting the judiciary’s confidence in her skill and judgment. Her practice also includes representing college and university students in disciplinary proceedings involving allegations of hazing, assault, and other conduct with potential criminal consequences.
Ms. Gasiorowski is known for her deep command of pretrial motion practice, sentencing guidelines advocacy, appellate and habeas briefing, and mitigation work. Her comprehensive approach allows her to guide clients through every phase of criminal proceedings, from investigation through trial and appeal.
